These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Bitiera Team ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Bitiera mobile application and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Eligibility: The Services are intended for users aged 17 and older (17+).
Bitiera is an event planning toolkit designed to help you publish and manage activities. You can upload cover images, add tags, select dates and venues, and provide direct contact links to phone or social media. The calendar view may help you organize events and check for scheduling conflicts.
"User Content" includes text, images, and other materials you submit (such as event details and cover images). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display it solely to provide and secure the Services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Some features may allow optional server-side processing of text or images (including AI-assisted processing, if offered). If you choose to use such features, you instruct us to process the content for the requested output, and you remain in control of whether to upload and generate content.
The Services may let you add contact links (e.g., phone or social media). Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.
The App and related materials (excluding your User Content) are owned by Bitiera Team or licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works except as permitted by these Terms.
The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitiera Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD $50 if you paid nothing), unless law requires otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of our principal place of business. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law, and on an individual basis (no class actions), to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will change accordingly. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms means you agree to the updated Terms.
